About the university
Gunma Prefectural College of Health Sciences opened in April 2005 through a reorganization of the Gunma Prefectural Medical Junior College with high hopes that it would “achieve the dream of a healthy lifestyle” for the residents of Gunma Prefecture. The school aims to foster nurses, public health nurses, and radiology technicians who will serve as health and medical care professionals capable of contributing to maintaining and improving the health levels of the residents of Gunma Prefecture and the people who live in various different regions over the course of their lives. As such, it established graduate school master’s courses in April 2009. Our teaching faculty possess both an abundance of practical experience and strong research capabilities. In line with our “next generation-oriented curriculum,” which aims to educate every one of our students so that they are capable of adapting to changes in society, our teaching faculty provide instruction that consolidates a scientific basis for nursing and radiological technology studies so as to support the systematic study of specialized knowledge and skills.
