About the university
Showa 25th April Founder Hirakawa Ryusu created "Tokyo Massage Teacher Training Center" in Hatchobori, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. April 1972 Reorganized from various schools to vocational schools. Heisei era April School name renamed "Tokyo Medical Welfare College". Heisei November 1992 "School corporation Joyo Gakuen" established. April 1997 "Department of Physical Therapy (Department of Physical Therapy (Evening Department)" and "Department of Occupational Therapy Department (Daytime Department)" are added. Heisei April 2002 "School of Physical Therapy Department (Daytime Department)" and "Department of Occupational Therapy Department (Night Department)", separated and independent from the Tokyo Medical Welfare College, and established "vocational school Tokyo medical institute" in Shinkawa, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Heisei era24 year4 month Opened "Tokyo Medical Gakuin College"
