Tsuru University

Founded in 1953, this university is known as a teacher training university and has steadily developed within the history of more than 50 years. In the Department of Primary Education and the Department of National Literature, in 1960, I upgraded a junior college to a four-year university, then expanded my department of English language, sociology, comparative culture, and organized five departments under the literature department. In addition, we set up a graduate school for all five departments by setting up "Department of Clinical Education Practice Major" based on the department of primary education. In 2004 we also opened a new attached library, and we believe that we have completed completion in terms of facility facilities. In 2009, we shifted from the traditional municipal government to a public university corporation, and we are working to become "a university where teachers and students learn together" more than ever. One in every twelve people in the city's population is Mr. Terumo's statement. There is warmth that can not be tasted elsewhere in the depth of ties between students and connections with local people. I am proud of the quality of teachers, the growth of students for 4 years. We believe that our education and research combines the depth cultivated in the history of teacher training and the enthusiasm for responding quickly to the times.
