About the university
In 2007 at Port Island in Kobe, Hyogo University of Health Sciences (HUHS) has started its activity with three faculties simultaneously, School of Pharmacy, School of Nursing and School of Rehabilitation as a member of Hyogo College of Medicine Group which has over 40 years of history as medical college and teaching hospitals at Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture. Our mission is to bring up health-care professionals who can serve for the patients and society with reliable and warmhearted medical and related care and also who can contribute to the interdisciplinary medical care supported by high level of knowledge and skills. Under the borderless and collaborative educational circumstances among three faculties joined with General Education Center, the main objective of the education is towards the team-based medical care.
