About the university
Created on the basis of the Institute named after Academician Dzholdasbekov and the Temirkazyk Institute, the Academy managed to preserve and multiply the traditions of the higher school, becoming the cultural, educational and methodical and scientific center of the Zhetysu region of Kazakhstan. The head of the academy is candidate of historical sciences Sadykov Amangeldy Majitovich. Here specialists are trained on a wide range of the most demanded humanitarian and technical specialties. To improve the management system of the university, the University has introduced, certified and successfully operates a quality management system that has already been tested for compliance with the international standard ISO 9001: 2000. The university is working to control the quality of educational services. Internal and external evaluation is used. The introduction of a credit training system made it possible to combine elective courses for studying to improve the organization of independent work of students, to use interactive teaching methods, to constantly improve the qualification of the teaching staff and, ultimately, to raise the quality of training of specialists to a new level.
