About the university
In KAU systematic work is carried out to implement the tasks of the state in terms of multilingualism, aimed at improving the quality of language training of specialists with higher and postgraduate education, as well as expanding the external academic mobility. Over the past 5 years, KAU has remained the only university in the CIS admitted to the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC & U). The activities of the KAU attract the interest of various foreign organizations working at this time in Kazakhstan. To date, stable relations have been established between the university and international organizations. Proceeding from the mission of the university, for successful entry into the world educational space and the competitiveness of graduates in the international labor market, KAU actively uses the introduction of American standards in Kazakhstan. KAU as a part of the International Educational Corporation occupies rather strong positions, according to the ratings of the authoritative agencies of the republic. In 2016, the University ranked 15th in the General rating of multi-profile universities in Kazakhstan.
