About the university
The Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi is the leading multidisciplinary institution of higher education in Kazakhstan. The multi-level education system of KazNU includes: higher basic education (bachelor's degree), higher special education, master's and doctoral studies. Admission to the KazNU is carried out on the basis of state educational grants and on a contractual basis. Training of specialists is carried out in more than 180 specialties.
