About the university
The autonomous organization of education "Nazarbayev University" (further - the University), created on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, sets a goal to become the first research university of Kazakhstan of international level, since its activities involve the implementation of the country's main priorities, Intensive development of research potential, industrial and innovative development of the country, provision of a transition to education that meets the requirements of changing A globally integrated economy. The educational process at the University is built on the basis of international educational standards, which contributes to ensuring the outstripping development and exit of the education and science system of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the world level. This is the first University of Kazakhstan, whose activities are based on the principles of autonomy and academic freedom.
