About the university
Central Asian University was established in 1997 in Almaty. The founder, president and first rector of the University is Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Aliev Zhumatay Alievich. In the future, Aliyev Zh.A was invited to the civil service in the Administration of the President of the RK, where he worked as deputy chairman of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, head of the Secretariat of the Office of the President, deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At present Aliev Zh. A continues as Chairman of the Board of Trustees to actively manage the Corporation's activity in four universities: Central Asian University (Almaty), Astana University (Astana), Mangistau Humanitarian Technical University (Aktau ), London Institute of Technology and English (London, UK), 8 colleges, and 2 manufacturing plants. According to the Strategic plan for the further development of the university and its entry into the list of the world's best educational institutions, the University in 2016 Passed the International Quality Certification ISO 9001-2015 and in 2017. Passes the international accreditation of its training programs. In October 2011, the university received a certificate of state accreditation for scientific programs (Series MK No. 002124 of October 20, 2011).
