About the university
The Kazakh University of Technology and Business was established on June 12, 2003 and is the only specialized higher education institution in Astana and the Akmola region to train competitive personnel for the food, light, petrochemical and hospitality industries. Since 2011, the quality management system ISO 9001: 2008 has been introduced. A unified information management system for the University has been established; In the educational process, innovative technologies and active teaching methods are used, including distance learning technology. There is a system of internal quality control of education and qualitative composition of PPP. The university provides a multilevel system of training specialists. Out of the university walls, more than 10,000 people graduated; University students show good results not only in mastering academic achievements, but also actively participate in all kinds of competitions, as well as in the political life of the capital.
