Kibabii University is a public university in Kenya located in Bungoma County along Bungoma-Chwele highway. Previously a constituent college of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, the university was granted its Charter by President Kenyatta in November 2015.Founded in 2010, Kibabii University is a public higher education institution located in the large town of Bungoma (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially accredited/recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya, Kibabii University (KU) is a coeducational higher education institution. Kibabii University (KU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. KU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
