The American University of the Middle East is one of the leading institutions of higher education and learning in Kuwait. Based in Egaila, on an expansive progressive campus. AUM currently has over 8,400 enrolled fulltime students. The faculty body at AUM comes from diverse backgrounds enhancing the learning experience at AUM. We are proud to say that AUM students are enriched, enjoying, and benefiting from an academic experience through our world class academic programs offered through the College of Engineering and Technology, and the College of Business Administration, at the undergraduate and graduate levels. AUM was established in 2008 in affiliation with Purdue University with a great vision and mission aspiring to be a leading university at the national, regional and global levels. AUM aspires to continuously improve and upgrade its scope and offerings. This is done by addressing new frontiers based on the current and future needs of global industries, economies, and most importantly the young generation. In its research endeavors, AUM aims to meet the needs of the industry at large with focus on the energy, health, and service sectors. In supporting the research and learning dimensions, AUM has a state-of-the-art lab and teaching facilities at the Colleges of Engineering and Technology, and the College of Business Administration. The campus continues to support the mission of AUM, hosting a set of sports facilities through indoor sports facilities as in the state of the arts AUM Sports Center.
