About the university
The name of Alberta College is closely connected with the history of Riga and the man who made a great contribution to its development - Bishop Albert. Exactly thanks to him the first school - Dome - was opened in Riga. Our College was founded in 2001, the year when Riga celebrated its 800-year anniversary and was named in honor of Bishop Albert - founder of the first school in Riga. Today Alberta College is an accredited educational institution, where you can get first level professional higher education. The average age of Alberta College′s students - 25 years. This means that here you can meet 18-year-old and 40-year-old, and even older students. Pre-study English and Math courses and individual approach to each student during the learning process will help students of any age become part of the College’s study programs.
