About the university
VUAS offers to acquire knowledge in our faculties of Economics and Management, Translation Studies and Information Technologies offering Bachelor and Master programmes. Currently, there are approximately 900 full-time students (including international students from countries like Spain, France, Germany, Lithuania, Turkey, India, Ghana, Uzbekistan etc.), 80% of which are funded from the state budget. VUAS has 129 employees, including 67 members of academic staff. To top students Ventspils University of Applied Sciences offers different scholarships provided by city municipality and local entrepreneurs, discounts for academic excellence, Erasmus+ exchange programme and scholarship, living in a comfortable dormitory on campus and safe, study friendly environment.
