About the university
Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences is well-known in the market of education of Lithuania as educational institution with the traditions of engineering specialist training and with great experience in training specialists - practicians. Its beginning goes back to 1920, when the first Kaunas Higher Technical School was founded. It was the first educational institution, training engineering specialists in the independent Lithuania. Student visa
All students coming from outside the EU require a national visa for multiple entries D in order to study in Lithuania. Visa D will allow you to travel via Schengen countries 3 months in each period of 6 months. A multiple entry visa (D) may be issued for the period of up to 12 months. The application needs to be submitted to the nearest Lithuanian Embassy/Consulate. The visa is normally issued in 15 days. Check the website of your local Embassy of Lithuania for further information.
