About the university
KUISAS formerly known as KISDAR was established in 1999 by the Islamic Religous and Indegenous Malay Council of Perak and was registered with the Islamic Department of Perak under The Religous School Control Enactment 1996. KISDAR became a quasi government body through the Enactment of Kolej Islam Darul Ridzuan (Enactment no.3 in year 2000) KISDAR was upgraded to college university status (KUISAS) in 2013, and into a full-fledged university in 2016 as Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS). USAS now offers programmes in Foundation, Diploma, and Bachelor's Degree, Master, and PhD level. All the programmes at KUISAS is accredited by MQA and recognised by the Public Services Department of Malaysia.

Student visa

Accommodation
USAS offers on-campus accommodation with affordable fees, depending on the type of accommodation. External housing rentals are available as well, and would require additional local transportation costs. Additional costs would also include utilities (water, electricity and cooking gas), as well as additional monthly wifi/broadband costs. The Student Affairs Department can assist international students in contacting our Hostel and external rental to apply for accommodation.
Scholarships
USAS offers scholarships to potential candidates with excellent academic achievements for Bachelor's Degree, Master, and Doctorate for programs.
