About the university
The history of Twintech International University College of Technology (TWINTECH) dates back to 1993 when it was founded by Allahyarham honourable Senator Professor Datuk Dr. Ismail Md. Salleh where the university college was earlier known as Twintech Institute of Technology. In 1996, Land & General Berhad invested and the name of the institute was changed to L & G Twintech Institute of Technology. In 2003, Minister of Higher Education invited the institute to upgrade to University College status. Hence, this has brought about the emergence of Twintech International University College of Technology.
