Polytechnic Kota Kinabalu

Polytechnic Kota Kinabalu has started to operate since March 1, 1996. Starting with the temporary campus in sekolah Menengah teknik Likas to the Department of Electrical Engineering and Public, Administration, Library, Student Affairs and building rental Commercial Lot Inanam to put the Commerce Department and the Department of mechanical Engineering, Unit Exams and the Training Unit of the Industry. The recruitment of the eldest students of the PKK Sabah started in session 1996/97 implemented in June 1996 in which a total of 83 students start their studies. Permanent campus Politeknik Kota Kinabalu (PKK) was completed in 2003, is located in the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (k. k. i. p.) on the Street Polytechnic. Polytechnic Kota Kinabalu was officially moved to its permanent campus on 1 September 2003. Among the departments created at the Polytechnic Kota Kinabalu are the Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, the Department of Commerce and Department of Hospitality. 2 support department was established, namely the Department of General Studies and Department of Mathematics, Science & Computer. Apart from the academic departments PKK also contains Part of the Administration, the Student affairs Unit,Student Affairs Unit the International Unit, Exam Unit, Training & further Education Unit, Multimedia and Resources, Unit Development and Maintenance, Quality Unit, Counselling and career Unit, the Unit Sports & Co Curricular, Unit Liaison & Training Industry, ICT Unit, Corporate Communications Unit, Library, Hostel, Unit Research and Innovation and Komersialan, the Asset Management Unit and Store, the Unit of Entrepreneurship.
