We are a full-fledged campus of Monash University - a premier research intensive Australian university ranked among the top 100 universities in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, and a member of Australia’s prestigious Group of Eight (Go8). Established in 1998, Monash Malaysia is the first foreign university campus in Malaysia that operates in partnership with the Sunway Education Group. A self-accrediting university, our campus offers a distinctly international and culturally rich environment with approximately 7,500 students from 70 different countries. Students are taught by highly qualified academic staff from across the world and the same rigorous standards are applied at the campus as at other Monash campuses. As a globally-connected university, Monash University has more than 100 partner universities around the world, and campuses on three continents – Australia, Asia and Africa. Students can take advantage of international mobility schemes as part of their course. Monash Malaysia has established strong links with industry and government. From collaborating with industry partners to create safer medical devices to partnering with Sunway Medical Centre to grant students internship opportunities, we are at the forefront of research and education which seeks real-world solutions to address national and international priorities.
