About the university
The Mexican Institute of Tourism opens its doors on February 12, 1979, with the career of Technical in Tourism Business Administration, on August 22, 1997, the degree of Licentiate in Tourism Business Administration, both published in the Journal Official on the dates mentioned above. In 2010, the Secretary of Tourism SECTUR, authorized us to give the Diploma for the Formation of Guides of General Tourists, according to NOM-08-TUR-2002, and the Course of "First Aid" Registered in the Undersecretariat of Tourism Operation, Directorate General for the Development of Tourism Culture.
