About the university
Decree creating the Huixquilucan Technological Institute of Higher Education was created by decree of the Executive published in the Government Gazette, on August 29, 1997, as a decentralized public body of a state character, with legal personality and own property. The beginnings in the CONALEP of Huixquilucan. Once its creation was decreed, it was requested the support to CONALEP campus Huixquilucan, to accommodate the first two groups of students, academic and administrative staff; And so on September 22, 1997 began its activities with 66 students: 32 students of civil engineering and 34 of biology. A classroom was assigned for the civil engineering class, and a laboratory for biology students; The clerks were in a small annex next to the civil hall.
