About the university
The Technological Institute of La Laguna (ITL) is one of the most important institutions of higher technological education in the lagoon region. The Technological Institute of La Laguna is part of the National System of Technological Institutes in Mexico. Until the year of 1987, it was counted on the delivery of education of average superior level. The Technological Institute of La Laguna obtained in 2005 the accreditation ISO 9000: 2001, granted by the German organization TÜV. In April of 2008 received the distinction of high technology institute technology.
