About the university
Alva Edison University began in 1982, was created as an Institute of Computing offering the careers of computer technician and computer programmer, over the years has rendered its services in various buildings, all located in the historic center from the city. Due to the vision of Prof. Jorge León Vázquez, Current president of the civil association that manages the university, the educational offer was expanded and for the year of 1988 already offers the career of programmer analyst, created with the purpose of providing training for the development of productive activities. Computer courses are offered in current packages and programs at that time, the success achieved by the Institute is not a product of chance but is a product of great effort and dedication.
