About the university
The Higher Technological Institute of Zongolica was born in 2002 attending to the need for higher education in the area of the high mountains of the State of Veracruz. It has started in the municipality of Zongolica with 43 students offering Engineering in Community Development. Faced with the absence in Veracruz of a program aimed at the training of professionals specialized in the Management of Forest Resources, in 2003 the Forestry Engineering career was opened, becoming the Zongolica Technology in the first university in the state to teach this course. In August 2007 the Zongolica Technology offered for the first time the degree in Computer Systems Engineering, with a demand for this first generation of 40 students from different municipalities in the central area. All this, in order that our graduates are the precursors of technological innovation in the region. The Engineering in Business Management of the Zongolica Technology was opened in 2009 with a registration of 41 students, this engineering was born with the purpose of developing the new entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs of the region, through the creation of companies and the same Promote the economic development of the region.
