About the university
The Mexican Institute of Sexology, AC was founded in 1979. Imesex has the only postgraduate program for the training of Sexologists Educators that in the country has Official Recognition of Validity of Studies by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) through The Directorate of Higher Education. At present, there are six other programs at the postgraduate level: Master in Disability and Sexuality, Specialization in Clinical Sexology, Master's in Clinical Sexology, Specialization in Sensitization and Group Management, Master's Degree in Educational Sexology-Sensitization and Group Management and Specialization in Sexology Educational services have Official Recognition of Validity of studies of the Direction of Higher Education of the SEP. In this way the IMESEX becomes, In the only Institution of Higher Education in the world with such number of programs validated by the Secretariat of Public Education.
