About the university
As part of the National System of Higher Technological Education, under the Ministry of Public Education, on October 1, 1976, the Technological Institute of Nuevo León was founded with the objective of disseminating the benefits of Technological Education in the country and creating Development according to the regional needs becoming the first Federal Institution of Higher Education in the State of Nuevo Leon and number 48 of the National System of Technological Institutes.
