The Institute of Higher Studies of Tamaulipas (IEST), is a basic, upper secondary and higher education institution. The IEST was founded in the City of Tampico, in the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico. On September 9, 1974. The IEST Campus Valles was founded in Ciudad Valles, in the state of San Luis Potosí, Mexico. On 14 August 2004. Our Institute is part of the Federation of Mexican Institutions of Higher Education (FIMPES) and is recognized for certification issued on October 16, 1996.
