About the university
The creation of the Ciudad Acuña Higher Technological Institute as a decentralized body of state government was the overwhelming response to the fair demand of the sectors to train professional human resources whose qualities were in line with the global competitiveness needs of the working environment in the region . It was on November 18, 1998 when the birth of the campus was formalized through the decree published in the official newspaper, in order to start the history of academic excellence that currently makes the Acuña Technology the best institution of higher education of the North of the state of Coahuila.
