Technological Institute of Cerro Azul

The Technological Institute of Cerro Azul is an institution that was created to satisfy the demand of higher education originally in the technological area and that now has as main objective to contribute to the development of its socio-economic, political and cultural environment through the adequate Academic preparation of their graduates. Cerro Azul Technological Institute was founded on October 12, starting activities with three professional careers: Lic. In Business Administration, Electromechanical Eng. And Civil Eng., With a student population of students. At the moment this institute counts on a population of students, who are distributed in seven professional careers like: Lic. In Computing, Lic. In Contaduría, Ing. Industrial, Civil Eng., Electromechanical Eng., Eng. In Computational Systems and Lic. In Business Administration (open system.). In 1982 construction began on the buildings of classrooms E and F, later the Laboratories of Electromechanical and Civil, I and K respectively, as well as the electrical substation and the water treatment plant M and N, continuing with the construction of the buildings of Information Center A, Maintenance J, Cafeteria C, and Classroom Building G, Computer Center P, and Administrative Building Two-Level D.
