About the university
The Technological University of the South of the State of Mexico , is a Decentralized Public Organism of the Government of the State of Mexico. It was created by Decree No. 44 of the Executive Power, on August 28, 1997. Its creation responded to the demands of the southern population who longed to have a higher education institution where their children could prepare to face the future. Similarly, it was intended to promote access and permanence to education to counter migratory trends. The proposal has meant an alternative training that overcomes traditional schemes by entering into a vanguard model congruent with the social and productive needs not only of the region. It also contributes significantly to the economic and social development of the State of Mexico by training professionals of excellence and with a high level of competitiveness.
