About the university
The University of Celaya is a private university, located in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico. Inspired by a non-profit business vision. It was created by the initiative of the engineer Raúl Nieto Gómez with the purpose of supporting the development of the region through an educational option of excellence. Thus, in 1985, Higher Education of Celaya, AC, was created as the corporate name of the institution and in 1988 it opened its doors with 110 students in the areas of high school and several degrees, among which the following stand out: Public Accountancy with specialization in computers, Systems Administrative Computing, Business Administration, Industrial Administrative Engineering and Biotechnological Agricultural Engineering.
