The Universidad Veracruzana (UV) is an institution of public and autonomous higher education, founded on September 11, 1944 . The institution must fully carry out its mission as an autonomous public institution, whose substantive functions are teaching, research, dissemination of culture and extension of university services, which must be fulfilled with quality, pertinence, equity, ethics and permanent link with The different social sectors that generate and distribute knowledge for equitable and sustainable development.
