About the university
Matehuala University was founded on August 19, 1996. It is a non-profit civil society. It serves the semi-desert potosino, with central campus in Matehuala, San Luis Potosí; Being the first university school founded by potosinos. From its beginnings it has oriented its educational proposal to be pioneer with degrees, postgraduate, extracurricular models of international profile, congresses, conferences and seminars, unique in the state.
