The name of San Miguel, was considered to be the name that according to history records, gave the Spanish conqueror Nuño Beltrán de Guzmán to the Villa of San Miguel Colhuacan founded on his arrival to these rough lands on September 9, 1531; Considering that with this historic name, part of the roots of our capital city is rescued and also complies with the commitment that the new generations do not forget the origin of our ancestors.
