About the university
The University of the Caribbean, since its inception in 2000, has sought academic and institutional excellence. It is in 2007 that it achieves the accreditation of its academic quality through the external evaluation of the Interinstitutional Committees for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CIEES), created and regulated by the Secretariat of Public Education. The CIEES are integrated by groups of professors of the highest level of the institutions of higher education of the whole country.
