About the university
The Technological University of Nogales, Sonora, is a Decentralized Public Organism, whose principles, policies, programs and actions are articulated with the educational guidelines of the Technological University Subsystem. He took office on September 7, 1998, occupying the facilities of CECYTES, having as coordinator of the campus Nogales Ing. Francisco Alberto Curiel Montiel, being President of the Republic C. Ernesto Zedillo Ponce De León; Constitutional Governor of the State of Sonora C. Armando Lopez Nogales and Mayor C. Wenceslao Cota Montoya. The figure of Rectoría, for the first time in this University, was the Ing. Miguel Angel Salazar Candía, functioning as such until the year 2009. Interactively happened the C. Miguel González Tapia. From October 2009, to date, the figure of Rector is occupied by M. in A. Marco Antonio García Carrasco.
