About the university
Over 40 years the University has traveled a path full of challenges, opportunities and satisfactions, the balance is highly positive. It started activities in a single campus in rented facilities, today it is an Educational System of 3 campuses, with own facilities. Started activities in 3 classrooms, 2 laboratories and 1 operating room; Today it has 86 classrooms and 31 workshops and laboratories, 3 auditoriums, 3 cafeterias, 3 libraries with a collection close to 12,500 volumes of books and multimedia, 3 computing centers that provide a modern service to the academic and administrative community, Ceiling and 2 amphitheaters; A residential complex with 96 double rooms for foreign students. Its first academic community consisted of 60 students, 9 teachers, 12 support staff and 3 managers, Today includes 2,007 students, 458 teachers, 136 support staff and 52 managers, including the Rector. There are many satisfactions that are gained by contributing to the formation of better people and professionals, there are also many challenges that remain to be consolidated.
