About the university
The Secretariat of Public Education and the Government of the State of Tabasco signed the Coordination Agreement for the creation, operation and financial support of the Instituto Tecnológica Superior de Centla , on September 28, 2001, and the Government of the State of Tabasco issued the Agreement No. 16428 dated 5 December 2001 for the creation of the ITSCe, as a Decentralized Public Organism of the State Public Administration, with legal personality and own assets, sectorized to the Ministry of Education. The Higher Technological Institute of Centla (ITSCe) began its activities on September 12, 2001 in the facilities of the School of Bachelors No. 12 of this Border City with a registration of 291 students distributed in 3 careers: Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering and Electromechanical Eng. It had a staff of 10 teachers and 9 administrative staff, with 5 classrooms, a small library that had 624 volumes and 486 titles, a conditioned space as a teacher's room, a classroom as a computer center, a Space for the administrative area, a copier where the photocopying service was provided to the technological community.
