About the university
The Moroccan School of Agriculture was created on January 6, 1942, but the courses were interrupted during the Second World War, then resumed in 1945. The studies were two years for the first two promotions and were extended to three years from the Third promotion 1946-1949. In October 1957 the Moroccan School of Agriculture took the name of National School of Agriculture of Meknes (ENA). In 1964 the studies were reorganized over 4 years leading to a training of Agricultural Engineers Polyvalent. Since the establishment of the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute in 1968, about 50 students have been oriented towards ENA after success of the preparatory year. In 1986, a 6-year program was implemented, leading to the training of state engineers in six specialization options. This year was also marked by the introduction of the preparatory cycle integrated into ENA. From 2004, ENA reorganized its training curriculum and adopted a BAC + 5 course in compliance with Law 01-00. The training was divided into two cycles: a two-year Preparatory Cycle and a three-year Engineering Cycle.
