About the university
The Faculty of Science Dhar El Mahraz FSDM, created in 1980, is located on the university campus Dhar El Mahraz and extends over an area of 6 ha of which 4 are built. It mainly serves the region of Fes-Boulemane located in the North Center of Morocco with a population of 1.6 million inhabitants of which approximately 2/3 concentrated in the city of Fez. Young people under the age of 30 represent 60% of the population of the region, therefore a significant need for training. The FSDM is organized into six departments: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology and Computer Science and a Language and Communication Unit. 305 research professors offer courses leading to Bachelor's and Bachelor's Degrees, Master's or Specialized Master's and Doctorate degrees.
