About the university
The University of Managua is a non-profit, autonomous, private higher education institution that is governed by civil law in accordance with the laws of the Republic. It was approved by the CNU in the session No. 04 of July 9, 1998. It is the result of the aspirations and the effort of an interdisciplinary team of professionals that exercises a social function expressed in its scholarship program and in the character of A nation impregnated in its academic programs.
