About the university
Started in 1987 as a Govt. Polytechnic institute and has been upgraded as a Govt, College of technology since 2005, running diploma and Bachelor level courses in different fields of Engineering & technology (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, DAE) and B-Tech: (Mechanical) Degree respectively. . The college is situated on Mansehra Road, nearly five kilometers from Abbottabad. It has a land of 10 acres approximately having large beautiful buildings.It consists of large classrooms, workshops / labs, Computer labs, etc, in order to cope up with growing needs of the age. The college has its own mosque, housing colony and hostel for students having a capacity to accommodate 80-students.
