Established in 1993, Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the metropolis of Karachi (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Sindh. Officially accredited/recognized by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan, Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) is a small (enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 0-10% making this Pakistani higher education organization a most selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. SSUET also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sport facilities and/or activities, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
