About the university
Batas Pambansang Blg. 91, signed by Pres. Ferdinand E. Marcos on December 4, 1980, merged the Mambusao Agricultural and Technical College and the Capiz Agricultural and Fishery School to become the Panay State Polytechnic College . The University primarily provides advanced instruction and professional training in agriculture, fishery and forestry, science and technology, arts and humanities, education and other related fields. It also undertakes research, extension, and production activities and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization.
