Established in 1995, University of the Philippines Mindanao is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the rural setting of the large city of Davao City (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Davao Region. Officially accredited/recognized by the Commission on Higher Education, Philippines, University of the Philippines Mindanao (UPMIN) is a very small (enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of the Philippines Mindanao (UPMIN) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 22 years old H.E. institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. The admission rate range is 10-20% making this Philippine higher education organization a most selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. UPMIN also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sport facilities and/or activities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
