About the university
The Federation of the University of Agglomeration Warsaw (FUAW) was established on October 1, 2012 as a result of an agreement between WSWMiR and the private higher vocational school in Giжиycko. President FUAW term 2012 -2016 WSWMiR rector Professor Janusz Kowalski. FUAW focuses on autonomous nonpublic schools from the metropolitan area of Warsaw, Pomerania and Podkarpackie. The purpose of the Federation is to increase the capacity of scientific and educational institutions of higher professional education included in its composition, as well as joint marketing activities to promote the offer of educational organizations in the Federation. The Federation adheres to the principle of respect for the autonomy of universities of states. In April 2015, the Federation requested that FUAW be registered as the first non-university Poland's relationship. The task of the Federation is also działaność International, which is a manifestation of cooperation with scientific institutions around the world, with a special focus on the university from the former Soviet Union and the countries of the Middle East and the Maghreb. The formula of the university federation, which is a cluster of educational benefits, is also the attraction of funds from the funds of the European Union, intended for development activities.
