About the university
Silesian Medical School in Katowice is one of the first private non-public medical schools in Poland with the authority of a public school. Since its inception in 2008, the College has been continuously expanding its education offerings at the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels, as well as providing numerous training and courses. The mission of the University is to conduct modern practical medical education in directions corresponding to the current trends of the Polish and European labor market. The didactics conducted at SWSM is geared primarily to the training of practical vocational skills, so practical classes take place in professionally equipped, modern laboratories and laboratories. Curricula created in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education are rated by employers who can best determine what qualification a graduate should have. The students in the Program Council, the Library Board, the Senate, the Scholarship Committee, and others are involved in the creation of the internal law.
