Objectives The general objective of the licentiate degree in Film, Video and Multimedia Communication is to promote a training that combines a rigorous theoretical education with a highly interdisciplinary training applied in the specialized fields. Throughout the course, the students will be constantly encouraged to experiment with technological and artistic aspects. The ultimate goal of this course is to train individuals that are technologically competent, as well as conceptually and artistically creative. Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired The licentiate degree in Film, Video and Multimedia Communication aims to train professionals in the areas of production and direction within the film and television industries, as well as the production and direction of multimedia on a conceptual and more experimental level, in addition to providing them with the basic generic skills in the areas of communication sciences, arts and design and information systems, computing and multimedia communication. Career This degree aims to transmit the skills that will enable the graduate students to this carry out the following functions: Area of specialization in the production and direction of films : Development and writing of films, television and video fictional, documentary, institutional and advertising projects; Professional practice in the context of the directing and assistant director of films, television and video fictional, documentary, institutional and advertising projects; Production, Executive production and assistant production of films, television and video fictional, documentary, institutional and advertising projects; Direction of photography, lighting and image assistance; Camera operations in film and video technology; Image control and vt operations; Notes of films, television and video fictional, documentary, institutional and advertising projects; Audio Post-production, sound recording and sound design; Post production and visual composition of films, television and video fictional, documentary, institutional and advertising projects; Analog and digital photography; Promotion and distribution of audiovisual and multimedia products. Area of expertise in Multimedia production and direction: Management and design of multimedia projects; Development and writing of projects; Consultancy on multimedia projects and information systems; Design of applications, interfaces, and information for multimedia platforms (web, offline, mobile); Production and direction of animation projects; Modelling and 2D and 3D animation; Programming in multimedia environments; Analysis of systems and multimedia projects; Post-production and visual composition of films, television and video fictional, documentary, institutional and advertising projects; Analog and digital photography; Graphic design, typesetting and production of infographics.
