Objectives To train individuals in the ability to use the basic principles of management, namely production management, modelation and simulation of problems, applied to the industrial process. These basic skills must be complemented by the following general responsibilities discrimination.Development of the student¿s ability to assess and decide in order to acquire: Ability to solve problems within the Major¿s area by building and supporting their own arguments; ability to collect, select and interpret relevant information, particularly in the respective study field that ensure the justification of presented solutions and appreciations made, including in the analysis of scientific, social, and ethical aspects. Development of communication skills that ensure the conveyance of information, ideas, problems and solutions to experts and non-experts. Development of the learning skills that enable learning throughout life with a high degree of autonomy.
