Admission Requirements The following students may apply to the cycle of studies that leads to the mestre degree a) holders of a licenciado degree or legal equivalent; b) holders of a foreign academic degree conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized according to the principles of the Bologna process by a State that adheres to that process c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as fulfilling the objectives of the degree of licenciado by the statutorily competent body; d) holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum vitae that is recognized by the statutorily competent body of ULHT as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies. Seriation criteria - 50% mark of the previous qualification - 50% marks of the curricular appreciation For candidates with no previous qualification or with no classification of previous qualification, the curricular assessment assumes the weight of 100%. Graduation Requirements To have completed a total of 120 ECTS Objectives The Master of Science in Civil Engineering aims to contribute to the increase of scientific knowledge worldwide and to train students with a critical spirit in civil construction, capable of acting in any country of the European Union and worldwide, in two optional areas of specialization: Structures and Hydraulics. Future Studies The preparation received in this cycle of studies will allow the graduate to continue their academic career, providing, in particular, the technical and scientific knowledge required to attend a Doctoral Programme. The 2nd Cycle Degree in Civil Engineering is intended for students who fulfill the entry requirements identified above and who are motivated to acquire and consolidate knowledge transversal to the various domains of Civil Engineering, enabling them and giving them the skills to develop Engineering solutions, with autonomy and critical capacity, and simultaneously develop work in a research context and the application of knowledge.
